Pastor Keith and Jeni Evans have 30 years of service in Pastoral Ministry. Jeni is a Lover of God, Math Teacher, Life Coach, Public Speaker, Business Owner, Wife, and a Mother of grown men! Pastor Keith is a Servant of God, LPC Counselor, Business Owner, Public Speaker, Evangelist, husband and father. Keith and Jeni are in their 30th year

The History of this Church In Riverside
Danville Assembly of God (Grace Church)
Danville Assembly of God (GRACE CHURCH) is a historic church in Northumberland county. The church is on the historic trail in Riverside, PA. In the mid to late 1850's the town of Riverside was started by Thomas Beaver, Dan Morgan, I.H. Torrence, and Benj. G. Welch. Together they purchased 100 acres of the Daniel Cameron Farm. Many properties were sold to the residents of Danville who retired from the Iron Mill. This new community decided to build a church, a place of worship, hence Grace Church was birthed in Riverside, PA.
In the late 1870's, a financial collapse occured at the bank in Danville. The bank lost four million dollars and the people lost their homes to sheriff sale and eventually lost their church, Grace Church. Another church in Danville purchased the church in Riverside to keep the work prosperous. Since that purchase, the church has not been without a congregation. People have worshipped here for over 150 years.
In the early 1900's, the Thomas Beaver family, generously built a beautiful home on the property for the congregation to meet the needs of a pastor and family. The Thomas Beaver family is a relative of James Beaver. James Beaver was a Civil War brigadier general, who became a Govenor of PA, and was a respected and loved President of Penn State University. Because of James Beaver's life service, Penn State named their football arena Beaver Stadium. This church in Riverside has a very rich connection in our state, region, town, and to the Beaver Family.
In the late 1940's, The Assembly of God congregants in Danville noticed the church in Riverside was for sale and they voted to purchased the property as a dedicated place of worship. For approximately 70 years this Assembly of God congregation has been worshipping in spirit and truth at this current location. There's something special about this church in Riverside, PA! You can feel the presence of God in the congregants and on the grounds of this beautiful property. There is a rich history of diverse people gathering to worship the Lord, building the Lord's kingdom, and proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel in good and hard times. We are continuing the legacy of the early founders in blessing our community with the Good News that's found in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
